list of things im handling well currently

I dissociate a lot. I like to think of my brain as a series of rooms. On good days I’m up front engaging with the world, and on bad days I’m waaay in the back. I can still kind of see and hear what’s going on outside but it’s far away and I don’t feel a part of it. It’s not unpleasant but time moves weird and I feel everything and nothing. A lot of people have been connecting with my work during this quarantine strangeness but my work is not about quarantine. I’m glad this sensation has become so widely relatable though. Welcome to my rooms! Please take your shoes off and be nice.
